Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical data center projects for clients nationwide. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams through all project phases.

Ideal candidates have design-build/EPC experience for data centers, strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor teams. The role supports hybrid work with travel up to 10% and requires PMP certification within 12

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience managing design and/or construction projects.
• PMP (PMI) certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency depends on duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver data center projects across the U.S.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage scope, schedule, and budget
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, vendors, and client stakeholders
• Mentor multi-disciplinary project teams for effective collaboration
• Ensure project controls, quality, and risk management per contract requirements
• Communicate status to clients and escalate issues to ensure on-time delivery
