Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex data center projects for clients nationwide. This role focuses on managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across all phases of infrastructure delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience planning, managing, engineering of design-build and/or EPC projects for data centers, including power delivery, water systems, networking, and civil site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience managing design and/or construction projects.
• PMP (PMI) certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects for major US clients.
• Develop and manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across design, procurement, construction.
• Lead client-facing delivery teams and manage expectations.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Ensure quality, safety, and contract requirements.
• Support water management, power, and site development.
