Job summary

Riggs Distler & Company, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer for its Major Projects Group in Fairless Hills, PA. The role focuses on technical project aspects and reports to the Sr. Project Manager. Salary range is $130,000.00 – $160,000.00 with a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 5+ years of relevant construction PM experience. Procore and MS Office proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of project management experience in construction.
• Ability to read drawings and perform construction take-offs.
• Strong budgeting, estimating, and scheduling skills.
• Excellent MS Office and construction-management software proficiency (Procore preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate construction work packages to support field execution.
• Assist in the preparation, tracking, and closeout of RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Manage all aspects of the project with a focus on technical scope.
• Research specs and drawings; resolve field issues and coordinate RFIs with supply chain and customer.
• Review and edit estimates related to design changes on the project.
• Collaborate with planning and oversee scheduling and resource-loaded plans.
• Conduct site visits, audits, safety reviews, and customer meetings.
• Provide client updates to align with goals.
• Mentor and supervise Assistant Project Managers.
