Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a TFO Project Engineer to support the full lifecycle of mission-critical data center projects, with emphasis on tenant fit-out and white space deployment. You will work with engineering, construction, commissioning and turnover teams to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data center engineering or operations, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and hands-on experience with power, cooling, and cabling systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in data center engineering, construction, or operations.
• Strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure (power, cooling, cabling, network).
• Familiarity with data center design standards and best practices.
• Proficiency with project tools like AutoCAD/MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to design and commission data center projects.
• Support tenant fit-out including white space buildouts and rack deployments.
• Translate requirements into project plans and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with design specs, standards, and safety rules.
• Support power, cooling, and structured cabling deployments.
• Participate in capacity planning, risk analysis, and impact assessments.
• Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control.
• Track milestones and budgets with project managers.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Assist in vendor selection, procurement, and contractor supervision.
• Maintain records of system designs and installations.
