Job summary

Asiacom Americas Inc. seeks an energetic Data Center Facility Engineer to ensure availability of electrical and HVAC equipment in data centers.

The role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure including stand-by diesel generators, PDUs, switchgear, UPS units, ATS, batteries, and fire suppression systems. The engineer will develop and review MOPs, lead incident response, and coordinate with vendors to meet SLAs while ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in data centers with operation and maintenance focus.
• Experience with critical electrical/hvac infrastructure and fire suppression systems.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure.
• Create, review, and update Method of Procedures (MOPs) for maintenance and installations.
• Lead incident response to resolve facility-related issues and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to meet contracted SLAs and drive projects to completion.
• Provide on-call support for data centers in the region and manage investigations and recovery.
