Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas in Fremont, CA is seeking a Sr. Power Electronics Field Application Engineer (FAE) to bridge customers and our engineering teams. You will own technical engagements from architecture through validation, delivering power solutions for data center applications.

You will collaborate with PM, R&D and account teams, travel up to 20%, and build relationships with hyperscale and cloud providers to drive design wins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years in power electronics, FAE, or solutions engineering.
• Hands-on experience with data center power systems (AC/DC and DC/DC).
• Strong understanding of power efficiency, redundancy, and thermal management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical SME for data center power electronics and related supplies.
• Design and validate power shelves, adaptors, and rack-level systems.
• Address thermal management with air-cooled and liquid-cooled designs.
• Perform or support testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Present test results and data to customers clearly.
• Support qualification, integration, and deployment phases.
• Build trusted relationships with hyperscale, cloud providers, OEMs, ODMs.
• Collaborate with Asia-based BU/PM/R&D and translate solutions into business value.
