A leading company seeks a Facilities Technician to support data center operations in New Albany, Ohio. The Data Center team designs and operates sophisticated electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems worldwide. Facilities Technicians support physical data center operations, including heating, cooling, power supply, generators, UPS, electrical distribution, and monitoring systems. Responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various systems, reading blueprints, conducting tours, and assessing system performance.
As an expert, you will develop innovative approaches to reduce operational costs and enhance data center efficiency. You will ensure environmental and safety standards are maintained, troubleshoot problems, and manage performance issues and outages to minimize downtime.
Our Technical Infrastructure team builds and maintains data centers and develops platforms that support Google's products. We are dedicated to engineering excellence, troubleshooting, and ensuring network reliability for optimal user experience.
The US salary range for this full-time role is $129,000–$189,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Specifics will be shared by the recruiter during hiring.
