Job summary

SpaceXAI seeks an Industrial Pipefitter to support the buildout of high‑performance data centers. You will install large industrial piping systems, fit, hang, and test pipe from construction through turnover, collaborating with mechanical, welding, electrical, and operations teams on onsite sites.

This full‑time role requires extensive travel to SpaceXAI data center sites. You must be comfortable climbing, lifting, and working outdoors in varied weather while following LOTO, PPE, and permit

Qualifications

• 3+ years installing large industrial piping or completed pipefitter apprenticeship
• Ability to travel to data center sites and work outdoors
• Read isometric, spool, and P&ID drawings
• High school diploma or equivalent; NCCER or trade credential preferred
• Willingness to work at heights, ±nights, weekends during critical windows

Responsibilities

• Install large-bore piping (process, mechanical, utility) per drawings and specs
• Fit, hang, and test pipe; support welding crew with joints
• Install valves, fittings, hangers, supports, and pipe racks
• Read drawings and field-route, flag conflicts before install
• Support hydro, pneumatic, and service tests; test packs and leaks
• Stage, move, and inventory pipe, valves, and equipment
• Assist with equipment set for pumps, cooling towers, air handlers
