Insight Global is seeking an experienced cost manager to own on-site owner-side cost control in Cheyenne, WY. You will review, validate and challenge numbers from the general contractor and project partners, keeping the client ahead of cost risk.

You will monitor budgets, commitments and forecasts, validate pay applications and cash flow, and manage change orders from identification through approval. Required: 8+ years in construction cost management with owner or owner's-rep experience; data

Responsabilidades

• Monitor budgets, commitments, forecasts and estimates from the owner's side
• Review pay applications, invoices and cash flow forecasts and analyze variances
• Facilitate change order process from identification through approval, including Change Control Board materials
• Track contingency and allowance usage and report trends early
• Produce owner cost reports and KPIs for client leadership
• Read schedule health alongside cost, and coordinate with owner-side scheduling and project management
• Help build cost processes, templates and reporting cadence for a new program

The role

You are the owner's cost conscience on site. You review, validate and challenge the numbers coming from the general contractor and project partners, and you keep the client's leadership ahead of cost risk. You work independently, own your scope end to end, and build strong working relationships with the contractor's cost team.

What you'll do

• Monitor budgets, commitments, forecasts and estimates at completion from the owner's side.
• Review and validate pay applications, invoices and cash flow forecasts, and dig into variances between forecast and actuals.
• Facilitate the change order process from identification through review, negotiation support and approval, including Change Control Board materials.
• Track contingency and allowance usage and report trends early.
• Produce regular owner cost reports and KPIs for client leadership.
• Read schedule health alongside cost, and coordinate with owner-side scheduling and project management.
• Help build cost processes, templates and reporting cadence for a new program.

What you bring

• 8+ years in construction cost management, with recent owner or owner's-rep experience. Cost management on the contractor's side alone is not enough for this seat.
• Required: cost management experience on data center projects, hyperscale preferred.
• Hands-on experience with forecasting, cash flow, accruals, change control and contingency management.
• Comfort giving direct, honest guidance to project leadership, then backing the decision once it's made.
• Experience with cost platforms such as e-Builder, Unifier or SAP.
• QS, RICS, CCP or similar is a plus.
• 23 days PTO (holidays plus paid time off)
