Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to help maintain critical facilities.

You will perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot high‑reliability systems, including diesel generators, UPS, PDUs, and cooling equipment, ensuring the data center operates with minimal downtime. This on‑site role requires willingness to travel between sites and work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance or mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot data center facility equipment to ensure 24/7 reliability.
• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission‑critical facilities including generators, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure safety, procedures, and local regulations are followed.
