Responsibilities include operating and maintaining data center facilities, troubleshooting events, performing maintenance tasks, and supporting other technicians while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in relevant work.
• US government security clearance of top secret or above, or 1+ years of relevant technical position experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to bend or twist the body into unusual positions while working; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical, emergency generator, and fire/life safety equipment in the data center.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
• Perform maintenance tasks including filter changes, HVAC PMs, rack power installs, rack PDU and ATS replacements.
• Provide support to Data Center Operations technicians.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed during work.
• Work a 12 hour shift (rotating days/nights).
• Take daily operational readings of equipment during rounds.
