We are currently hiring for the Day Shift, Sunday - Thursday 6:00am - 2:30pm.
The Data Center Technician II assists in the operational integrity, security, and regulatory compliance of the data center. The technician should have a basic knowledge of telecommunications and data center operating procedures. Responsibilities include routine operational tasks, troubleshooting, customer build-outs, and responding to facility issues.
Responsibilities include security functions, telecommunication standards and installations, customer interactions, and ensuring quick resolution of problems. Skills required include security operations, troubleshooting, basic telecom practices, data center architecture, cabling, electrical theory, and customer service.
Responsibilities will also include infrastructure build-outs, cable termination/testing, maintenance, monitoring systems, and responding to alarms across mechanical, electrical, security, and telecom systems.
Duties:
Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years in facilities or telecom, and ability to pass background checks. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
