Job summary

The role requires a technical bachelor's degree, 8 years in infrastructure, and 2+ years in leadership and vendor management. You must be able to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position supports Google’s AI and Cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
• 2 years of experience managing technical teams, vendor or contract management and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the computing and networking operations of a data center site(s), and ensure SLOs are met and team performance is aligned to those goals.
• Hire, coach, and develop a team of technical staff to meet objectives.
• Take responsibility for the management and implementation of multiple projects for your team and ensure data center related priorities are consistent with company objectives.
• Work with others to set and implement short-term and long-term strategy for the site.
• Identify problems and create solutions for computing and network architecture.
