Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Data Center Network Service Delivery Manager to lead network service delivery for the Texas DIR across ADC, SDC, and CyrusOne nodes in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio. The role requires managing a complex enterprise data center network including DCN Ring, LAN, firewalls, and cloud connectivity.

The candidate will provide operational oversight, drive SDN initiatives, and ensure high availability and secure performance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience.
• 8+ years of enterprise data center networking experience.
• Demonstrated experience with MPLS, BGP, OSPF routing design and operations.
• Cisco data center platform experience including Cisco ASR routers and Cisco Nexus switches.
• SDN design and operations experience.
• Experience with firewall management and network security operations.
• Experience managing multi-tenant network environments (VRF, MPLS).
• Strong understanding of data center network architecture, routing, switching, security, and connectivity.
• Experience managing complex, high-availability network environments.
• Strong network service delivery and operational leadership experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall accountability for data center network services across multiple data centers and CyrusOne nodes.
• Manage DCN Ring operations across five locations and 20 Gbps MPLS network.
• Oversee LAN operations at Consolidated Data Centers (switches, fabric extenders, firewalls, load balancers).
• Manage CyrusOne colocation nodes in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio.
• Lead SDN operations and evolution; oversee automated firewall rule management.
• Coordinate network service delivery, performance, change management, incident resolution and infrastructure evolution.
• Maintain network availability, stability, security, and performance across the environment.

Peraton is hiring a Data Center Network Service Delivery Manager to support the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR).This position provides overall network service delivery leadership across the Austin Data Center (ADC), San Angelo Data Center (SDC), and CyrusOne colocation nodes in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio.The successful candidate will oversee a complex enterprise data center network environment encompassing theDCN Ring, LAN infrastructure, firewalls, load balancers, cloud connectivity, VRFs, routing, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), remote access infrastructure, firewall automation, and network laboratory operations.

Candidate must be willing to travel to both sites- Austin and San Angelo TX. and must be local to the Austin TX area or willing to relocate.

• Overseeautomated firewall rule management.
• Manage a minimum500-user two-factor remote access infrastructure.
• Maintain theLAN laboratoryused for pre-production change testing.
• Coordinate network service delivery, operational performance, change management, incident resolution, and infrastructure evolution.
• Maintain network availability, stability, security, and performance across the in-scope environment.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
