Job summary

Google's Network Delivery team is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer to lead deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks worldwide. You will work with Technical Program Managers, Network Engineers, Design and Infrastructure Engineers, Field Engineers, and vendors to position the team for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in DWDM or TCP/IP or system design operations methodology.
• Experience working with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors in telecom environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate Google's private data networks across data centers and metro POPs.
• Execute end-to-end installations, turn-ups, and field troubleshooting with autonomy.
• Own network documentation and maintain designs and plans across sites.
• Drive process improvements and automation to reduce cycle times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure reliable delivery.
