Job summary

Serverfarm is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician to operate and maintain critical MEP infrastructure at our Covington, GA facility. You will monitor chilled water systems, HVAC equipment, and electrical distribution, ensuring reliability and safety in a high-demand environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a data-center setting, strong communication, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance using CMMS and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a data center or critical technology environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; reliable and precise.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, inspect, and maintain MEP infrastructure.
• Monitor BMS/EPMS and respond to alarms and performance trends.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance using CMMS.
• Escort, coordinate, and oversee vendors, contractors, and service providers.
