Job summary

TierPoint, LLC. is seeking an MEP Technician II to maintain and service electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in our data center facility in Charlotte, NC. You will troubleshoot, repair, and document work, supporting safe, reliable operations and training other team members.

Ideal candidates have strong hands-on experience with UPS, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH units, boilers, and building automation systems, with a focus on uptime and efficiency in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.
• Ability to read blueprints and one-line diagrams.
• Strong communication and safety discipline.
• Proven record of documentation and ticketing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service electrical and mechanical systems in the data center.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and document maintenance tasks.
• Provide remote hands and eyes support for client issues.
• Install and terminate network, power, and cabling components.
• Update facility documentation and records regularly.
• Assist in scheduling and dispatching for emergencies and outages.
• Mentor and guide less experienced site personnel.
