Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in high-density data center cooling, controls, and telecom systems. You will design HVAC, cooling tech, and fire protection for mission-critical environments, while collaborating with electrical and IT specialists.

Responsibilities include energy optimization, maintenance, commissioning support, and documentation. A PE license or pursuit thereof is preferred; 10+ years in data center projects is desired.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering focusing on data center solutions.
• PE License or willingness to obtain.
• Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection within data center environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.

Mansioni

• Lead design and development of mechanical systems including HVAC, cooling tech, and fire protection for data centers.
• Collaborate with electrical, IT, and project teams to integrate mechanical solutions with power, network, and infrastructure.
• Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of chillers, AHUs, and fire suppression systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and documentation per industry standards.
• Contribute to long-term capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades; support planning and evaluation phases.
• Support initial factory startup and provide technical assistance during commissioning.
• Review drawings and submittals; ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, ASME, etc.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
