Job summary

Worldwide Mission Critical is seeking a senior mechanical design engineer to lead and support the design of data center cooling systems, including chilled water networks and air distribution, across the full project lifecycle. You will collaborate with electrical, civil, and operations teams to resolve design issues and ensure conformance to project requirements and standards.

Required: a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on data center systems, 5+ years in the A/E

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on data center systems is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in the A/E industry.
• Proficiency in Revit BIM design and data center cooling system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support mechanical design across the full project lifecycle for data centers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and ensure standards.
• Perform thermal load calculations, airflow modeling, and energy analyses for cooling systems.
