Job summary

Actalent in Dallas, TX seeks a Project Executive for Data Center Mechanical Construction to lead a major data center project from planning to turnover. You will direct budgeting, staffing, trade coordination, and client engagement, delivering a complex mechanical package including direct cooling systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field ops, subcontractors, and the GC, driving schedule compliance, quality and safety, and applying TAKT Planning to optimize workflow across teams.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of direct data center construction experience, including mission‑critical projects from preconstruction through turnover.
• Experience with data center cooling, mechanical infrastructure, and large‑scale HVAC systems.
• Experience leading planning sessions, managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating with owners and GCs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a large data center mechanical construction project from preconstruction through turnover.
• Develop strategy, budgeting, staffing plans, and resource allocation for the mechanical scope.
• Oversee HVAC, chilled water, direct cooling, piping, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Manage risk, quality, safety, and client relationships across project teams and subcontractors.
• Apply TAKT Planning to improve workflow, coordination, and schedule reliability.
• Monitor progress, forecast, and recovery plans to keep the project on track.
