Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Senior Operations Maintenance Planner responsible for end-to-end maintenance planning, schedule integrity, and operational readiness across assigned sites. You will balance preventive maintenance, vendor capacity, and site risk to ensure safe, predictable uptime and escalate risks based on real-time conditions.

The role requires coordinating calendars, approving maintenance, and leading drill planning while holding internal teams and vendors accountable for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in data center, mission critical or maintenance role.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own site or multi-building maintenance calendars and prioritize sequencing.
• Approve, defer, or re-sequence preventive maintenance based on risk and conditions.
• Own maintenance demands across buildings and systems.
• Ensure maintenance aligns with uptime protection strategies beyond compliance.
• Maintain maintenance backlog health and prioritization.
• Oversee vendor work schedules and ensure timely execution.
• Enforce planning standards, documentation, and readiness requirements.
• Hold vendors to schedule adherence and SLA performance.
• Identify vendor-driven risks and escalate mitigations.
