Job summary

Burr Computer Environments, INC is seeking an experienced data center Low Voltage Project Manager in Austin to lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of complex low voltage builds. You will coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and quality at the forefront.

The role requires deep misc systems knowledge, client communication, and strong leadership to drive projects from initiation to closeout, including risk

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in low voltage systems or related field with PM or lead role
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and safety standards
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, risk management
• PMP or similar certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Project planning and execution: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets from initiation to closeout.
• System oversight: Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems.
• Team & resource management: Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Documentation & compliance: Maintain project docs and ensure codes and standards compliance (TIA/EIA, NFPA, OSHA).
• Communication & client relations: Liaise with clients and management, provide updates and resolve issues.
• Estimating & procurement: Estimate costs, materials, and labor; manage change orders and procurement.

An experienced data center Low Voltage Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of low voltage projects (structured cabling, IDF/MDF rooms, network buildouts, A/V systems, security, and endpoint deployments) within a data center environment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality and safety standards.
