Job summary

PRT Staffing seeks a Journeyman Low Voltage Electrician to support a data center installation in the Santa Teresa, NM area. You will lead and assist with low-voltage and telecommunications infrastructure, read blueprints, install cabling, racks, patch panels, and coordinate daily progress with the crew.

Qualifications include an active journeyman electrician license and experience in electrical or telecom construction, with flexibility for overtime.

Qualifications

Active journeyman electrician license required.
Experience in electrical, low-voltage, telecom, or commercial construction environments.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings/installation instructions.
Commitment to jobsite safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and support low-voltage and telecommunications installations in a data center setting.
Install fiber optic and copper cabling systems with crews.
Assist with installation of cable pathways, racks, cabinets, and patch panels.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and installation specs.
Coordinate daily installation activities and support project schedules.
Ensure installations meet project specs, safety standards and quality requirements.
Assist with troubleshooting installation issues.
Collaborate with fiber optic specialists and other trades to support completion.
Maintain daily progress reports and installation documentation.
