Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Logistics Associate in North Carolina to manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and support data center operations. The role includes setting up server racks, maintaining orderly workspaces, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The position requires basic math, 1 year of logistics experience, and familiarity with inventory systems and Microsoft Excel. A reliable, safety-conscious team player is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software, as well as proficiency in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word).
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record all incoming inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and prepare shipping documents.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace and assist with disposal of packaging materials.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow safety protocols and security measures.
• Support and Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
• Assist in setup and installation of server racks and related equipment.
• Handle tools safely and assist senior technicians with cable management.
