Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team in Moncks Corner, SC. You will receive and verify inventory, record items, and help coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.

The role requires at least 1 year of logistics or inventory experience, familiarity with inventory systems, and basic math skills. You will handle racks, networking equipment, and other hardware while maintaining safety and organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Proficiency with basic math calculations and use of calculators.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming inventory, including racks, trays, networking equipment, and other hardware.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation for all items received and shipped.
• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging for outgoing shipments.
• Upload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Transport inventory by hand using material handling equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment including storage areas and docks.
• Assist with disposal of packaging materials and obsolete equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
