Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Canton, MS is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage inventory and shipping for AWS data center operations. You will oversee receiving, stock control, and distribution to Data Center Technicians and Engineers, ensuring timely availability of parts and supplies.

This role involves lifting, cycle counting, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Weekend shifts may be required, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and collaboration

Qualifications

1+ years of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices experience
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of logistics or other relevant experience
Familiar with waybills and shipping procedures with transport companies

Responsibilities

Ensure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated and ready for processing
Assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials
Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
Understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e. forklift or cherry picker)
