Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Center Lease Development Manager to lead large-scale lease negotiations, site selection, and contract administration for hyperscale facilities. You will coordinate with engineering, legal, finance, and operations to align business terms and develop new AI deployment models in leased spaces.

Travel up to 25% to support domestic and international engagements, stay current with market and regulatory developments, and contribute to Meta's leasing standards and strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in leased data center site selection, engineering, design, construction, contract management, and/or development of data centers or other large-scale or mission-critical capital projects
• Experience leading complex negotiations
• Experience representing business interests to executives and suppliers
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
• Analytical and communications skills to distill complex details for all levels

Responsibilities

• Develop Meta's leased and colocation data center location strategy and manage site selection for technical due diligence, negotiations, and contract administration
• Lead technical feasibility discussions and contract negotiations with landlords, owners, and utilities
• Act as conduit between Meta Engineering and Landlord SMEs to optimize solutions for customers
• Coordinate lease contract amendments in response to business changes and feedback
• Negotiate letters of intent, lease agreements, service agreements, and other facility-specific agreements
• Partner with internal teams to align on key business terms
• Develop ideas for improving metrics and tracking mechanisms
• Manage supplier relationships and best practices
• Perform market analysis and develop leasing site selection strategy
• Stay informed about technical, market, and regulatory developments in data centers
• Contribute to leasing standards and organizational strategy at Meta
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (10% to 25% at times)
