Jacobs is seeking an experienced Interiors Architect/Interior Designer to lead the design and delivery of interior environments for data center and mission-critical facilities in the United States. You will manage programming through construction administration, ensuring spaces support operations, security, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in interior architecture/design.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery.
• Experience developing construction documents and technical detailing.
• Strong understanding of building codes, ADA, life safety, and specs.
• Knowledge of FF&E specification and finish materials.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design efforts for data center and mission-critical projects from programming through construction administration.
• Develop space planning and interior design solutions for offices, control rooms, and data center spaces.
• Create space plans, renderings, mood boards, and finish presentation materials.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural construction documents, specs, and details.
• Select and specify finishes, FF&E, and equipment.
• Coordinate finish selections and workplace standards.
• Participate in client meetings and design reviews.
• Collaborate with architecture, structural, MEP, security, and telecom teams.
• Ensure compliance with codes, accessibility, and life safety standards.
• Support BIM coordination and model reviews.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and field conditions during construction.
• Perform site visits to verify design intent and quality.
• Mentor junior architects and designers.
