Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking Data Center Installation Technicians to support a data center project involving AI/server infrastructure, racks, fiber, and structured cabling.

You will install AI/server racks, pull and label fiber and copper cabling, perform rack-and-stack, and work with patch panels and cable trays.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with structured cabling, low-voltage, fiber, telecom cabling, or rack-and-stack.
• Experience in data center, telecom, central office, cell site, or commercial installation environments is desirable.
• Comfortable with ladders and physical installation work.

Primary Shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (Some weekend included)

Other schedules may include Wednesday–Saturday or Sunday–Wednesday

We are hiring Data Center Installation Technicians to support an data center project involving installation of AI/server infrastructure, racks, fiber, and structured cabling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and support AI/server racks and data center infrastructure
• Pull, route, dress, label, and organize fiber and copper cabling
• Perform rack-and-stack and equipment installation activities
• Work with patch panels, cable trays, and related infrastructure
• Follow installation diagrams, SOPs, and project documentation
• Maintain quality and safety standards within an active construction/data center environment
• Coordinate effectively with installation and project teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on structured cabling, low-voltage, fiber, telecom cabling, or rack-and-stack experience
• Experience working in a data center, telecom, central office, cell site, low-voltage, or commercial installation environment is highly desirable
• Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical installation work
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Comfortable working in an active construction environment
• Composite-toe, over-the-ankle leather work boots required
• Steel-toe boots are not permitted
