Job summary

Salute is seeking a Data Center Installation Project Manager in the United States to manage moderate to complex orders from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence. This role mobilizes, manages, and reports on service deployments for customers.

You will lead project teams, coordinate travel and site access, and submit weekly reports. You will ensure safety, security, and client privacy expectations are met, while onboarding new hires and maintaining project controls.

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate with peers and client POCs.
• Experience coordinating sequences of operations and related documents.
• Ability to support execution team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-project meetings with clients’ local POC and ensures project goals are established.
• Plans/coordinates travel and access to the site.
• Confirms daily THAs are conducted by the Team Lead prior to beginning work each day.
• Completes project controls sheet on a weekly basis to ensure budgets are met.
• Submits weekly reports to supervisor.
• Delivers post-project reports to clients’ POC at conclusion of projects.
• Reviews/Approves timecards and employee expenses each week.
• Onboards new hires from Talent Acquisition requests through onboarding processes.
• Engages with new hires in OTJ training until competency is met.
• Completes 100% of required Talent LMS training courses.
• Adheres to Salute safety standards and client privacy practices.
• Adheres to client security/privacy expectations.

The Data Center Installation Project Manager is accountable for managing moderate sized and complex project orders from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. This role is instrumental in mobilizing, managing, and reporting on service deployments for customers.

Primary Duties within varied scope of work and client expectations will range from:

• Conducts pre-project meetings with clients’ local POC and ensures project goals are established
• Plans/coordinates travel and access to the site
• Confirms daily THAs are being conducted by the Team Lead prior to beginning work each day
• Completes project controls sheet on a weekly basis to ensure budgets are met
• Submits weekly reports to supervisor
• Delivers post-project reports to clients’ POC at conclusion of projects
• Reviews/Approves timecards and employee expenses each week

Additional Accountabilities:

• Involved with new hire onboarding from Talent Acquisition requests, through candidate interviews, to standardized new hire onboarding process
• Engages with new hires in OTJ training until competency is met
• 100% completion of required Talent LMS based training courses as assigned
• 100% adherence to Salute Mission Critical safety standards and best practices
• 100% adherence to client security/privacy practices and expectations
