Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior field professional to oversee installation quality on Google data center projects, inspecting cabling, fiber, and infrastructure. You will coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure high standards are met across all work areas.

This role requires identifying quality issues early, signing off on completed areas, and actively participating in meetings with contractors.

Qualifications

10-15+ years in structured cabling/telecommunications infrastructure.
Fiber installation, splicing, testing, and termination experience.
Data center, mission critical, or large commercial infrastructure experience.
Ability to read project schedules and understand project coordination.

Responsibilities

Oversee installation quality on Google data center projects.
Inspect structured cabling, fiber, pathways, and infrastructure installations.
Identify quality issues and construction constraints before they impact schedule.
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams.
Participate in contractor and project meetings.
Ensure adherence to IES quality standards and gating processes.
Sign off on completed work areas before construction progresses.
Help train and develop field personnel.
Monitor project progress, documentation, and compliance efforts.
