Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Virginia seeks InfraDelivery Install Technicians to move and install large enterprise equipment across data centers, applying cabling and safety standards.

You will engage in hands-on work that supports AWS infrastructure and requires travel between sites. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex scenarios, and use test equipment to install fiber and copper cabling while ensuring security and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in hardware repair, cabling, data center ops or network deployment.
• Current Top Secret/SCI eligibility or above with ability to obtain TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Knowledge of cabling, test equipment and safety standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install Fiber and Copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area; own reliable vehicle and valid license.
