Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Hermiston, Oregon, is seeking an Infra Delivery Install Technician to transform network infrastructure and support data centers across designated regions.

You will move and install large enterprise equipment, install fiber and copper cabling, and follow strict safety standards while ensuring high reliability. The role requires 2+ years in data center or related fields, experience with network cabling and test equipment, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience.
• 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR experience.
• Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.
