Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Infra Delivery Install Technician to move and install large enterprise equipment and to install fiber and copper cabling across data center environments. The role requires travel within the regional work area and adherence to safety and installation procedures.

Candidates should have 1+ years in hardware repair or data center operations and a high school diploma or equivalent. Certifications such as CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+ are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience, or experience in similar technical or vocational roles.
• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment
• Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment
• Ensuring proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation
• Following well established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activities
• Safely using material handling tools and equipment
• Traveling within and outside of the regional work area is required. You will be responsible for having a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license to travel within the regional work area, as company transportation will not be provided
