Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Install Technician, Infrastructure Delivery in Frederick, MD. The role involves moving and installing large enterprise equipment, cabling, and ensuring safety during installations, with travel within the region and beyond as needed.

You will work with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex scenarios, and contribute to scalable, reliable infrastructure for AWS data centers. A relocation stipend is provided for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience or equivalent roles.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Industry standard certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CCENT, Network+) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Moving and installing large enterprise equipment.
• Installing fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Ensure safety standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
