Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Infra Delivery Install Technician in Canton, MS to join our data-center operations team. This role involves moving and installing large enterprise equipment, wiring fiber/copper cabling, and adhering to safety standards during rack installations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data center/IT roles, experience with network cabling and test gear, and the ability to travel as needed. Relocation support may be provided for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data center or related IT roles.
• 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience.
• Experience with copper and optical fiber cabling, switches and routers.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install Fiber and Copper cabling and patch cables between equipment.
• Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area is required.
