About The Role

As CBRE Information & Communications Technology Service Delivery Technician, you will provide on-site support for the ICT and Engineering services within the Data Center environment in Alpharetta, GA.

This role is part of the Critical and Technical Services function, responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

What You’ll Do
  1. Receive, review, and complete IT equipment installation, relocation, and decommission requests within industry standards and timeframes.
  2. Provide problem-solving support, including server reboots, backups, visual inspections, etc.
  3. Escort third-party engineers and ensure their compliance with site standards.
  4. Respond to and manage break and fix tickets within agreed timeframes or escalate as necessary.
  5. Create, review, and update on-site documentation, including standard operating procedures, whenever there are process changes.
  6. Assess and complete patching and de-patching requests.
  7. Develop good working relationships with staff and client representatives.
  8. Provision and diagnose faults related to network connectivity, installation, relocation, decommissioning of IT equipment, and perform general engineering maintenance and housekeeping of critical services.
  9. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment while projecting a professional image.
  10. Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems.
  11. Follow detailed duties, methods, and tasks to deliver work output under close supervision.
What You’ll Need
  1. Training in a technical discipline with apprenticeship or equivalent experience (1-2 years). Experience and education combined may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
  2. Must meet physical requirements of the role.
  3. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
  4. Effective communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
  5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  6. Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
  7. Basic math skills, including calculating percentages, discounts, and markups.
