Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions in the United States is seeking an ICT Design Engineer to support major data center infrastructure projects. You will develop scalable ISP/OSP pathways, coordinate with MEP and CSA teams, review submittals, and conduct field surveys to resolve design challenges.

The ideal candidate holds a BICSI RCDD (or equivalent), 5+ years ICT design and documentation experience, fiber optics expertise, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• BICSI RCDD certification (or international equivalent)
• 5+ years ICT design experience in mission-critical facilities
• 5+ years experience developing design/permitting documentation
• 5+ years experience with fiber optic components, cabling, and standards
• Basic MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure design for ISP/OSP pathways, space, cabling, and layouts.
• Coordinate with MEP and CSA teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Review ICT submittals, vendor drawings, RFIs, and perform construction administration.
• Conduct field surveys, site reports, and collaborate with construction teams on solutions.
• Identify risks and ensure designs comply with codes and standards.
