Job summary

IREN is seeking an I/E Technician to support safe, reliable operation of electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems across a Texas data center campus. Based onsite in Childress, you will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, calibration, and troubleshooting while building skills in critical power, cooling, and control systems.

You will work with internal teams, contractors and vendors, read schematics and P&IDs, and use test equipment to ensure uptime.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years in electrical, instrumentation, controls or related maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, LOTO and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Support BAS, SCADA, PLC-based controls, VFDs and related field devices.
• Read one-lines, schematics, P&IDs and vendor manuals to troubleshoot.
• Document actions in CMMS and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Follow safety rules including energized work, arc-flash controls, and OSHA/NFPA 70E requirements.
