Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an HVAC Data Center Technician to maintain and repair the cooling systems that support critical IT equipment, ensuring reliable operation of CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, and pumps.

You will read mechanical drawings, work with BMS/BAS controls, and be available for nights, weekends, and on-call shifts; travel is 0–25%. Modine offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to energy efficiency and reliable data center performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with BMS/BAS systems for monitoring and control.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including CRAC/CRAH units, Airewall’s, chillers, condensers, & pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) per schedule to ensure reliable system performance.
• Replace filters, and other mechanical components as needed.
• Respond quickly to mechanical equipment failures or temperature excursions to protect IT assets.
• Escalate critical events to management and assist in root cause analysis after incidents.
