Job summary

Equinix in Silicon Valley is seeking a hands-on Administrative Support professional to help run our data center operations. You will perform semi-routine tasks, follow standard procedures, answer calls, coordinate visits, and keep records of activities and inventories.

You will work closely with the Equinix Response Center, vendors, and customers on-site, ensuring smooth operations, accurate scheduling, and proactive issue tracking in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to work with standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide semi-routine administrative support to datacenter facilities.
• Answer incoming phone calls following standard procedures.
• Manage work request systems and dispatch updates.
• Coordinate site visits and schedules for customers.
• Maintain conference rooms and on-site tours schedules.
• Coordinate with Equinix Response Center and vendors as needed.
• Record activity data like circuit and power inventories.
• Assist with special projects.
