Job summary

Gunnison Consulting Group is seeking a Facilities/Datacenter Operations Specialist in Washington, DC. The role involves technical support, data center housekeeping, asset management, and collaboration with Facilities and House Offices to install and relocate servers and equipment.

The position requires DCIM knowledge, network cabling experience, and the ability to work 24x7 on-call shifts if needed. Salary ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 per year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Requires three years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of DCIM and environmental monitoring is essential.
• Experience with network cabling and data center operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support at data centers, install and troubleshoot systems/networks.
• Coordinate DCIM and environmental controls with Facilities and Data Center Manager.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for servers and equipment across datacenters.
• Support asset management and perform asset inventory with scanner tech.
• Maintain documentation and reports for management.
