Job summary

ValorC3 is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician to support the operation and safety of our data center infrastructure in Boise, Idaho. You will perform preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building components, troubleshoot electrical systems, and document work in CMMS.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with data center environments, knowledge of electrical codes, and ability to run/terminate cables.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in IT, CS or related field; ITIL/CompTIA is a plus.
• Experience with data center facilities maintenance and building systems.
• Hands-on with electrical, HVAC, plumbing and interior maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and interior building components.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, meters, tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform welding, carpentry, painting and other mechanical tasks as needed.
• Maintain CMMS records for work orders and asset histories.
• Lead facilities projects and coordinate with safety protocols.
• Support equipment maintenance to optimize reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to improve system reliability and performance.
• Follow schematics and manuals during repairs or installations.
• Communicate maintenance schedules and issues to internal teams.
