Job summary

Google Sterling, VA data center is seeking a Facilities Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical systems, HVAC, and power distribution. You will support uptime, safety, and efficiency while collaborating with technicians and contractors.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or related training in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years electrical experience in maintenance, safety, systems, infrastructure, generators, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems and equipment.
• Read blueprints and sequences of operations; tour systems and assess condition.
• Manage uptime of UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and controls.
• Operate and monitor data center facilities; respond to abnormal conditions.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new electrical equipment.
