Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician - Data Center to support operation and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure. You will manage electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life-safety systems, perform preventive and emergency maintenance, and coordinate with vendors.

The role supports 24/7 operations with a 12-hour shift (approximately 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM). Responsibilities include inspections, maintenance, testing, and maintaining documentation while ensuring uptime and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
License in Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical Field preferred; military training acceptable.
3+ years as a Critical Facilities/Maintenance Technician in data center or mission critical environment.
Knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems, building controls, fire/security systems.
Knowledge of CMMS, ticketing, work orders preferred.
Strong planning/scheduling skills and good organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

Operate, inspect, maintain, and monitor mission-critical equipment and building systems in the data center.
Support preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, power, and life safety systems.
Perform routine inspections, planned maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of facility equipment.
Assist with equipment testing and preventive maintenance (filters, generators, UPS/ATS/STS transfers).
Report issues and trends to facility management and operations teams.
