Job summary

Aligned Data Centers in the United States (OH) is seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician to support maintenance of critical mechanical and electrical systems across the data center campus. Under the direction of the Facility Manager, you will perform repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to ensure reliable operations.

Required are a high school diploma or GED with 2–5 years’ experience, knowledge of electrical/mechanical facilities, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2–5 years’ working experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical critical facilities systems is a plus.
• Able to work 40 hours plus occasional overtime.
• Computer skills required: MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, generator, fire detection and life safety systems.
• Inspect buildings and lighting to ensure safe, well-maintained conditions.
• Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Identify and repair plumbing fixtures and clogs.
• Operate various hand tools and equipment.
• Monitor building conditions and routine site tours.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
• Occasionally assist with overtime or weekend shifts.
