Job summary

Instrata Technologies, LLC. is seeking a Data Center Estimator to prepare fast, accurate estimates for data center and ICT projects in a hybrid Phoenix-based role.

You will work from the local office, conduct site visits, and partner with operations and clients to clarify scope and deliver proposals on tight deadlines. The ideal candidate has a background in data center/ICT estimating, strong Excel and take-off software skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids while maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, engineering, or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years estimating experience on data center/ICT projects.
• Must live in Phoenix metro area or relocate.
• BICSI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and proposals for small to mid-sized data center projects.
• Conduct site walks with foremen, superintendents, and project teams to verify scope before pricing.
• Price and prepare change orders with field and project leadership.
• Meet face-to-face with clients to review scope and present proposals.
• Track bid results and improve estimate accuracy over time.
• Build relationships with suppliers, distributors, and subcontractors for pricing.
