About The Role

As the Technical Manager at CBRE Data Center Solutions, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert and oversee Critical Environment Risk Management (CERM) Governance. Your responsibilities include providing technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and fire protection systems, and managing risk management processes to ensure the safety and stability of critical data center environments.

Essential Duties

• Implement and report on SHIELD/CERM initiatives
• Manage critical infrastructure documentation and drawings
• Oversee site operations, staffing, and business continuity plans
• Conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses, and incident support
• Manage infrastructure capacity and perform critical work planning

Leadership & Communication

• Experienced leader with 10+ years managing facility engineering teams
• Strong communication skills tailored to diverse audiences

Technical Skills & Software Proficiency

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, Power BI, CMMS, BMS, DCIM, EPMS, Bluebeam, CAD

Technical Expertise & Knowledge

• Operation and maintenance of data center critical infrastructure
• Understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and industry standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering (preferred)
• PE license a plus
• 3-5 years in data center design or operations
• Leadership and organizational skills, with advanced math skills

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges from $160,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on experience. Benefits include 401K, health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
