Job summary

Blue Ribbon Global Technologies is seeking a data center engineer for a third shift (Thursday–Sunday, 10:00 pm–8:30 am). The role focuses on deploying and maintaining complex data center environments, with emphasis on cable plants, IT infrastructure, and adherence to industry standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5+ years of data center experience, strong communication skills, and documentation capabilities.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years' experience deploying and maintaining complex data center environments.
• Understanding of indoor/outdoor cable plants, including copper cabling and fiber optics.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components (LAN/WAN/SAN, firewalls, servers, storage, DAS)
• Knowledge of standards relating to data centers and structured cabling (EIA/TIA, IEEE, NEC, ISO).
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
• Must be a team player and self-starter.
• Strong documentation skills to capture architecture details and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CIS/Network/Telecommunications or related field or equivalent work experience.
