The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in electrical construction or safety leadership, with strong knowledge of LOTO, hazardous-energy controls, and the ability to coordinate with contractors, commissioning teams, operations

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical construction or safety leadership on data-center projects.
• Experience with energization, LOTO, and hazardous-energy control.
• Ability to coordinate diverse teams and manage safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead energization and electrical safety processes.
• Develop and enforce energization plans and protocols.
• Coordinate safe energization of equipment during construction and commissioning.
• Manage LOTO and hazardous-energy controls.
• Maintain visibility over energized systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, MEP, commissioning, vendors, and operations.
• Review energization schedules and prerequisites.
• Participate in safety planning, risk assessments, and field inspections.
• Verify documentation, testing, and approvals before energization.
• Maintain energization records, permits, logs, and turnover info.
• Identify electrical safety risks and ensure corrective actions.
• Support commissioning, startup, and turnover of electrical infrastructure.
• Promote culture of electrical safety and accountability.
